New life springs forth from the fire, and joy leaps over the flames letting loose exaltation to the Spring skies, as Summer's abundance draws closer as each night passes.
This is one of the two main festivals celebrated in the Celtic tradition, Samhain and Beltane. This festival was to celebrate the Goddess and the newly reborn Sun King, and the fertility that their combined presence brings to the earth in the spring.
A specialty cauldron candle is accented with three different color wax drips in correspondence with the holiday in particular, and the herb mix on top is much the same. Specially collected and mixed by me and added on top of the candle itself to celebrate the holiday at hand. In this case, it all revolves around Beltane; or, for some, May Day.
The herb blend incorporated into the top layer of Beltane is blessed thistle, meadowsweet, jasmine, and nettle.
You have the option of the candle being scented with accentuating oils, as well. Should you choose it, the Beltane scent blend will include frankincense, myrrh, rose, lavender, jasmine, lemon, and grapefruit.
Each candle is made to order to ensure freshness and quality. These candles can be made and shipped out in 3-5 business days as each is made with special care for the corresponding holiday.
If you need any further customization, do not hesitate to ask and I will accommodate as best I can! Large quantities should also message me before ordering for appropriate shipping times and adjusted pricing.
FAQ: I have received questions about the approximate size of this candle. Once made, it is roughly 3.5 x 3.25 x 3.5 inches (with slight variance due to the contrasting drips). Each candle weighs around 14 oz. (again with slight variation).
*PLEASE NOTE: This must be burned like a pillar candle. Meaning you need a safe area and non-flammable surface to burn it on. The herbs on top can catch fire and burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and make sure to keep an eye on this candle in much the same way. We don't need anyone's Beltane festival to be disturbed by a house fire! Now be safe, and enjoy!*
