Mabon, the second harvest, and the beginning of Fall. The Autumnal Equinox brings with it a moment of pause in the work of reaping what we've sown. We begin to turn inward and breathe in a sense of relief. The Wheel's turn will soon be over, the cycle will begin again soon. We celebrate this with the warm blaze of a candle, shining in the same hues we see present in the leaves of the trees.
This is the Witch's Thanksgiving, a time to appreciate and give thanks to the Goddess for her bounty and to share in the joys of the harvest. To celebrate and welcome the end of one turn, and the start of the next turn of the Wheel.
A specialty cauldron candle is accented with three different color wax drips in correspondence with the sabbat in particular, and the herb mix on top is much the same. Specially collected, mixed, and added on top of the candle itself to celebrate the day at hand. In this case, it all revolves around Mabon. The Autumnal Equinox as summer officially ends, and the weather starts to cool. The currents of energy that underlie our physical world ebb and contract as the days begin their descent into deep fall and winter.
You have the option of the candle being scented with oils to accentuate the herbs, as well. The Mabon scent blend will include frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, apple, and clover.
Each candle is made to order to ensure freshness and quality. These candles can be made and shipped out in 3-5 business days.
If you need any further customization, do not hesitate to ask and I will accommodate as best I can! Large quantities should also message me before ordering for adjusted pricing.
FAQ: I have received questions about the approximate size of this candle. Once made, it is roughly 3.5 x 3.25 x 3.5 inches (with slight variance due to the contrasting drips). Weight comes out at around 15 oz. (again, with only slight variation).
*PLEASE NOTE: This must be burned like a pillar candle. Meaning you need a safe area and non-flammable surface to burn it on. The herbs on top can, and most likely will, catch fire and burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and make sure to keep an eye on this candle in much the same way. We don't need anyone's Mabon to be disturbed by a house fire! Now be safe, and enjoy!*
