This turn of the Wheel is coming to an end. How are you reflecting? What are you ready to release as we come into the new cycle in the Wheel of the Year? Perhaps the whispers between the branches of trees as midnight nears brings to mind a person you wish to speak with. Or the moon rises and you feel the pull to do a ritual or magickal working.
Samhain. This is the end of the cycle, the harvest is done and it is a day of celebration and bidding farewell to all that has happened in the last Turn with a heart of gratitude.
Samhain is the witch's version of New Year's Eve. This is the night when the boundaries between the astral, the spiritual, the divine, and the physical are the thinnest. This is a time to leave offerings for loved ones, to commune with them, and to ensure beautiful remembrance of each one.
When Samhain ends, the wheel of the year begins its turn anew, which makes it a time to also ask for blessings you wish to see in the coming year, and setting your intentions.
Cauldron candles are constructed entirely of wax (it is not just a candleholder, you can burn the whole thing!) accented with three different color wax drips in correspondence with the sabbat in particular, and the herb mix on top is much the same. Specially collected, mixed, and added on top of the candle itself to celebrate the witchy High Day. In this case, it all revolves around Samhain. Rosemary for remembrance, mullein for abundance, white oak for openings between worlds, wormwood for health, and a dash of rue to top it all off.
Each candle has the option of being scented with a combination of oils to accent and enhance the herbs involved. These oils are rosemary, frankincense, myrrh, cloves, cinnamon, and pumpkin.
Each candle is made to order to ensure freshness and quality. These candles can be made and shipped out in 3-5 business days, as they are specially made for each holiday.
If you need any further customization, do not hesitate to ask and I will accommodate as best I can! Large quantities should also message me before ordering.
FAQ: I have received questions about the approximate size of this candle. Once made, it is roughly 3.5 x 3.25 x 3.5 inches (with slight variance due to the contrasting drips). Weight comes out at around 15 oz. (again, with only slight variation)
*PLEASE NOTE: This must be burned like a pillar candle. Meaning you need a safe area and non-flammable surface to burn it on. The herbs on top can, and most likely will, catch fire and burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and make sure to keep an eye on this candle in much the same way. We don't need anyone's Samhain to be disturbed by a house fire! Now be safe, and enjoy!*
