Even those who don’t enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning, in my experience, still love the smell of the divine brew. Fresh coffee is a classic scent that we all know, and one that will make your home feel warm and welcoming. Smelling just like a brewed pot of coffee, this candle is a comforting and awakening scent that will drive your day into productivity, or relaxation. It all depends on you! The luxurious soy wax and decorative containers add a unique look to each candle, with beauty and comfort in mind.
Each candle is made with soy wax to ensure a long, clean burn time that is next to free of soot. No colorants are added to these candles, as the soy wax is a natural white/cream color that goes with any decorating style. From rustic to modern, these traits make it a wonderful gift for anyone, as it is made with the intent to be gentle on those with allergies as well as scent sensitivities!
All candles are made to order, and shipped as soon as they are ready. This usually takes 3-5 business days, though I will always process and ship orders as quickly as possible!
There are two different sizes available for each candle: the nine oz. amber glass jar (with a burn time of approximately 60 hours) pictured, and the six ox. gold travel tin (with a burn time of approximately 25-30 hours). Shipping is done through USPS at Priority and First Class Rates. After the processing time of 1-3 business days (though I ship orders out as quickly as possible), it should take the package no more than 1-4 business days to reach your home. This, of course, can vary during the holiday season. Please contact me if you have any questions about current processing times or need an estimate of how long it will take for your order to reach you. I cannot offer an exact time, but I can estimate as best as possible.
This product is made with soy wax, a common skin moisturizer. Many soy candles can be used as lotions or massage candles as the wax does not get hot enough to burn skin, and is known for its eco-friendly, skin-friendly, and moisturizing properties. HOWEVER, this candle is not recommended for that use. It is meant to be burned as a standard candle in the home, not to be used as a bath and body product due to the use of fragrance oils that are not considered skin safe in the scent. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer them.
Everything at From A Fable is crafted with allergies and sensitivities in mind. I aim to make sure that there are fun, body-loving products out there for people with difficulty finding bath and body products to use that do not cause negative reactions. I have extremely sensitive skin, normally needing to turn to free and clear products that seem to be harsher than need be on my body, but have discovered which ingredients can come together to form sensitivity-friendly recipes. GENERAL SHIPPING AND RETURNS:
I ship through USPS (domestic as well as international), and always use Priority Mail or First Class depending on weight, unless otherwise requested. Further contact and negotiation will be required for anything being expedited when it comes to shipping. Items vary in processing time, so please consult the individual items for their processing times. Priority Mail and First Class shipping usually takes anywhere from 1-4 days to reach its destination.
From A Fable is not responsible for any international taxes, import delays, or other issues that can arise during the shipping process. Once it leaves the shop, I am no longer able to control its care or process.
I accept payment via credit card or PayPal. I accept Etsy gift cards as well. Cancellation must occur BEFORE the items are shipped, and any concerns should be addressed via direct communication with the owner of From A Fable, Lauren Runck.
In order to return a candle, it must be in its original condition (meaning that once it has been used AT ALL, I will not accept it back). A refund will then be issued once the candles are back in my possession to ensure they are in re-sale condition. Refunds will not include original shipping costs, as those have been used up. Return shipping is also the responsibility of the customer.
I do not accept returns of earrings or bath and body products, pertaining to health code standards. Once the item has shipped, I will not accept back ANY bath and body products or earrings. Necklaces are still available to negotiate returns or exchanges, though the customer is still responsible for return shipping.
Should there be any damage to a product on its way to you, please contact me immediately with photos so that I can submit a report with my shipper. Each situation will be handled from there, to ensure that the customer has not wasted their money on damaged goods. I strive for quality products as well as fantastic customer service! We don’t need anyone’s day ruined by faulty products!
I want you to be happy with your purchase, and absolutely love it. If for whatever reason, the product does not meet your satisfaction, please contact me right away. I will gladly refund the purchase (according to the guidelines found underneath shipping and return policies) within 2 weeks of receipt for candles less the original shipping costs. I do not accept returns or exchanges for bath and body products. If doing an exchange or return, the buyer is responsible for returning candles in the original condition as well as return shipping costs. If product was damaged during shipping, I will need pictures of the damage to submit a claim to the shipping company. Contact me right away if this is the case so that I can sort out the situation with you, and get you what you need.

Please burn candles responsibly.
Burn candles for 1-1.5 hours for each inch in diameter. This is especially important for the first burn (to keep the candle from doing what is called “tunneling”). Allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the container before extinguishing, so that you get a chance to burn all of the wonderfully-smelling wax!
Before lighting your candle, make sure the wick is trimmed to about 1/4 inch long. Keep debris out of your melt pool. If the flame is flickering, either the wick is too long or your candle is in a draft. Large flames will burn/consume your candle more quickly than a smaller, steadier flame will.
As for soaps and other bath and body, please read descriptions and ingredient lists if you are like me, and have sensitive skin. I test all soaps myself, and will always let you know in the descriptions which kind of fragrance or essential oils are used, which soap base they are made with, as well as any herbs or exfoliants that are added to the mix. I am open about all ingredients, as well as knowledgeable about the suppliers and their effects on the body. I welcome any questions or concerns about the products so that I may put them at ease and provide further information. Pay close attention to my ingredient lists, as I do not accept them for returns once they have been used!
